On Friday, troops of Operation UDO KA successfully thwarted an attempted kidnapping of an unnamed law-abiding individual from the South East region in Umuaka, Njaba LGA of Imo State.
While conducting routine patrol along the Orlu-Owerri Road, the troops received a report of the kidnapping and quickly pursued the perpetrators, engaging them in a firefight.
