Commiserations and tributes have continued to trail the death of the daughter of Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Chief Akin Oke, Mrs Taiwo Ogunode.
Ogunode, aged 45 years, had died last Monday, in Canada, after ill-health.
She was survived by three children.
Leading the roll call of dignitaries at the Akin Oke residence, on Sunday, was immediate past governor of Oyo, Abiola Ajimobi.

In its own tribute, the Oyo APC in a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Azeez Olatunde described Ogunode’s death as a rude shock.
The party prayed Akin Oke has the fortitude to bear the loss, urging him to embrace the development as one divine judgment that could neither be contested nor appealed.
“As a father with good intentions to all APC members in Oyo state, we are all in sober mood because this is one death too many.
“The news of the transition of Mrs Taiwo Ajibola Ogunode came to us (Oyo State APC family) as a rude shock.
“If anything at all, it is the least expected but who are we to query the Almighty God,” the party said.
