Tribune@70: Oyetola felicitates management, commends newspaper for sustaining professional ethics

Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has felicitated with the leadership, management and staff of the Nigerian Tribune on the occasion of its 70th anniversary.

He extolled the leadership traits demonstrated by the Tribune Newspaper since its establishment.

Governor Oyetola stated this in his congratulatory message sent through his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan.

He acknowledged the impacts of the newspaper which he said has always been the bulwark of defence for the defenceless and the voiceless in the country.

He rejoices with the family and friends of the Nigerian Tribune, particularly members of staff who have upheld the professional ethics of journalism since its establishment.

Oyetola said: “I congratulate the entire leadership and staff of Nigerian Tribune on the occasion of the 70th anniversary.

“I must particularly acknowledge the high sense of responsibility of the leadership and staff of the newspaper which has sustained the confidence of the readers on its contents.

“There is no doubting the fact that Nigerian Tribune, being one of the foremost Nigerian Newspapers, has championed accuracy, objectivity, fairness and promptness in its contents.

“On behalf of my family, the Government and People of The State of Osun, I congratulate Nigeria’s most informative newspaper once again”.
