TRAGEDY struck at the early hours of Tuesday when two unidentified persons were crushed to death by a moving train in Kano.
An eyewitness who disclosed this to pressmen said the incident happened at about 8:00 a.m. along a rail line behind Kano Club in Nassarawa Local Government Area of the city.
However, according to a statement signed by the state Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) DSP Abdullahi Haruna, he said, “On Tuesday at about 8:00 hrs, a report received by the Police indicated that two yet to be identified persons, who were laying on the rail track, were crushed by a moving train behind Kano Club.
The PPRO said on the Police’s visit, it was found out that one of the victims was cut into two parts. The bodies have been evacuated to the hospital.”
