Tithe: ‘It takes humility to apologise’, Mike Bamiloye defends Adeboye

Renowned filmmaker and evangelist Mike Bamiloye has come to the defense of Pastor E.A. Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), amid the ongoing debate surrounding his comments on tithing.

Pastor Adeboye recently sparked controversy after stating that those who don’t pay tithe won’t make heaven. He later apologised, clarifying that this claim is not supported by biblical teachings.

Bamiloye took to social media to address the reactions following Adeboye’s apology.

He emphasised that Adeboye’s apology resulted from divine correction and praised his humility in publicly admitting mistakes.
