Three suspected killers of Abdulkarim Bala Ibn Na’Allah, the son of Senator Bala ibn Na’allah have been arraigned before a Kaduna High Court presided over by Justice Amina Bello on Thursday.
They were arraigned on three count charges of criminal conspiracy, robbery and culpable homicide.
The Kaduna State Solicitor-General and the lead prosecution counsel, Dari Bayero, presented the accused persons as Bashir Mohammed, Nasiru Balarabe and Suleiman Salisu.
In his submission, Bayero asked the court to discontinue the case for mentioning as the 1st and 2nd defendants were not represented by any counsel at the court.
However, during the court sitting, counsel to the 3rd defendant, Avong Emmanuel requested for the bail of his client on the ground of health challenges but his request was not granted by the presiding judge.

The case was later adjourned to March 21, 2022 for proper arrangement and trial.
Meanwhile, speaking to newsmen shortly after the court sitting, Bayero said the 1st and 2nd defendants must be represented by counsel(s) for a fair hearing.
Recall sometimes in August 2021, Abdulkarim, a pilot was killed at his residence in Kaduna.
It was alleged that the suspects forcefully gained access into the deceased’s residence at Umar Gwandu Road Malali, Kaduna and choked him to death.
In the process, they took his Lexus SUV to an unknown destination.
