Some passengers inside Abuja-bound commercial bus were on Sunday evening attacked and abducted by suspected Fulani herdsmen around Ajeoku village in Obokun local government area of Osun State.
Former chairman of Obokun local government, Chief Ojo Williams confirmed the incident to journalists in Osogbo.
Ajeoku is a village located between Otan Ile and Imesi communities in Osun State.

Williams hinted that when vigilante men working in Imesi Ile and policemen got wind of the attack, they immediately launched rescue operation through which some of passengers were rescued.
He stated “they are still there combing the bush for others that are still being held by the kidnappers. The bus was going to Abuja and was attacked in Ajeoku junction between Otan Ile and Imesi last night.”
