He made the commendation while delivering his Sallah message at the Palace pavilion on Wednesday in Sokoto.

Sultan Sa’ad expressed satisfaction with the large number of people fed under the statewide Ramadan feeding programme and called on the Governor to sustain the invaluable gesture.

He added, “I also would like to commend the Governor for the financial assistance to the needy, especially our Imams and Quranic teachers across the State.

“We equally appreciate the developmental projects being executed by the State Governor.

“We therefore need to support him to do more for our dear State.”

Sultan Sa’ad also praised Governor Aliyu for generously giving half salary free to the civil servants and pensioners in the State as a Ramadan gift, describing the gesture as the first of its kind in the State.
