Energetic and stylish were words deployed by fans and friends to describe popular actress and fitness queen, Kate Henshaw, when she clocked 50 years old days back. While many of her fans were left wondering that Kate was marking 50, others simply said ‘50 is the new 20’.
From being a popular figure in the movie industry where she earned the respect of many lovers of movies in the 90s to the early 2000 to becoming one of the most relevant in the industry today, Kate appears to have unlocked the secrets of agelessness.
It was not surprising to see that almost everyone who commented on her post on Instagram and other social media platforms had something nice to say about their favourite star.
From colleagues and friends who threw a big birthday party to celebrate her golden age, to fans who could not believe the screen diva is 50, Kate, without doubt blew minds away and proved that age is nothing but a number.
Attractively slim and blessed with a body that constantly brings her to the spotlight, the Nollywood actress says she’s comfortable with her life and would never settle for less.
Clocking 50 was a big deal for the fitness queen but thanking God for keeping her alive and active was not something she would take for granted.
Some of her friends described Kate as someone who is deep in thoughts and effervescent in expressions.
Speaking about the amount of love she received on her day, Kate who could not contain her joy said the show of love was overwhelming. “I am amazed at how people took their time to felicitate me on my birthday. I can’t even reach everyone to appreciate their love.”
Henshaw hinted about what has helped her to stay happy despite the challenges of life, saying “being one’s self is the key to staying happy. Be you and be yourself. Those who will love you will do so and those who won’t will not. God loves you unconditionally and that’s irrefutable.”
