GOVERNOR Rt Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal announced this Tuesday, his readiness to construct a new state high court complex. He stated this in his remarks shortly after swearing in the state acting chief judge Hon. Justice Mohammed Saidu Sifawa held in the council chamber government house Sokoto.
Tambuwal said that newly approved area courts would also be provided with offices in their areas of jurisdictions. While also assured that magistrates in the state would enjoy car loan before the end of this month.
Governor Tambuwal commended the cordial relationship existing between the three arms of government in the state.

While congratulating the acting Chief Judge, Tambuwal urged him to go by the oath of his office by doing justice to all manner of people.
He described the appointment of the acting chief judge which followed the retirement of the former chief judge last month as timely.
Tambuwal commended Hon. Justice Bello Duwale who on his own volition declined the position by writing to the NJC indicating his lack of interest in the administrative work.
