Shina Peller clarifies TikToker Peller’s link to family

Former federal lawmaker Shina Peller has clarified that the popular TikToker known as Peller is not a member of the renowned Peller family.

During a recent interview with Channels TV, Peller revealed that although the Professor Peller dynasty is extensive, the young TikToker does not belong to it.

He explained that the name “Peller” originated from his father’s career as a magician and has since been adopted by the family.

While acknowledging the TikToker’s ingenuity in leveraging the name for popularity, Shina Peller emphasised that there is no familial connection between them.

“Truly, Professor Peller’s family is quite extended, but he is not a member of the family.

“The name ‘Peller’ was given to our father as a magician, and it’s a name that the family has adopted since the time of my father.

“So, Peller, the comedian, is not a member of the Peller family. It’s a successful name. He’s just being smart. He’s been able to pop with the name. You can’t blame him, but I can tell you categorically that he’s not a member of the Peller family,” Shina Peller stated.

The clarification comes amid rising public curiosity about the possible connection between the TikToker and the famous Peller dynasty.
