The statement described Col Sani Bello as a philanthropist passionate about touching the lives of the people especially the youths and women.
According to the statement, the former Military Administrator of old Kano State, Col. Sani Bello (Rtd) is a true elder statesman and a philanthropist worthy to be celebrated.
The commissioner added that the Col Sani Bello Foundation established by the former military governor of old Kano State (1975-1978) in Kontagora has indeed helped the youths to acquire entrepreneurial skills.
He eulogized the former governor for adding value to the country and state.
“Col Sani Bello has distinguished himself as a global citizen deeply rooted in his community, and committed to the common good of the people in his immediate constituency. This is exemplified in his philanthropic activities through Sani Bello Foundation.
‘The former military administrator served the country in various capacity both as a serving and retired military officer.
He served as Nigeria High Commissioner to Zimbabwe from 1984 to 1986, he has soon made his mark both in business and farming.
The statement prayed God to grant the elder statesman more years in good health and wisdom to continue to offer his fatherly advice to Niger State Government and Nigeria.
‘On behalf of the good people of Niger State, I wish to felicitate with our father and role model as you clock 76 today, a counsellor and a philanthropist.
‘It is our fervent prayer that God grants to you many more years in good health so that you continue the good works you have started.”
