Reps resume plenary session

members recite National Pledge as part of reform as Gbajabiamila directs all ad-hoc committees to wind down

The House of Representatives resumed Plenary session today from the seven weeks annual recess.

The Speaker, Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila immediately after the opening prayer made members recite the National Pledge as part of the reforms promised at the inauguration of the Ninth National Assembly.

Welcoming members, Honourable Gbajabiamila purged them to brace up for the task ahead in moving the nation to the next level

Honourable Gbajabiamila directed all ad -hoc Committees to wind down their activities by the end of September and to hand over all to the House Standings Committees constituted before going on recess.
