The member representing Ezza south/Ikwo federal constituency in Ebonyi State in the House of Representatives, Honourable Chinedu Ogah, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to include the state in the list of those nominated as career ambassadors.
The lawmaker made the call in a statement issued in Abakaliki on Thursday, saying the lists does not contain any Ebonyi indigene and called for the inclusion of the state in the list.
According to him, there are many career officers from Ebonyi State at the federal level that are qualified to be on the list.
He further expressed dismay at the exclusion of Ebonyi indigenes in the National Judicial Council appointment in which about 33 judges were appointed.
He appeal to the Federal Government to always apply the principles of federal character in any appointment it makes to ensure equity and justice.
