Ramadan: Adedoja charges Muslim youths

A former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Professor Taoheed Adedoja, has called on Muslim youths to pray for the peace and unity of Nigeria.

Prof. Adedoja made the call in his residence in Ibadan while hosting a group of young people, including the physically challenged, under the auspices of “The Youths in Islam” who came to break their fast with him and congratulate him on his 66th birthday anniversary, held last Saturday.

“Every action, whether good or bad, carries more weight in this holy month. So, I urge you to use the opportunity of this period to pray fervently for the peace and unity of our dear country, Nigeria.

“Pray for your parents, family members, friends and leaders of Nigeria. Do not forget to pray for the good health of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“I want you to become better Muslims. Do not keep malice. Let us embrace the lessons of Ramadan, settle all disputes with your brothers, sisters and neighbourhs. Forgive those who have wronged you and live in harmony,” Prof. Adedoja said.
