The Presidency has tasked the support of the Kaduna state government to give adequate moral support to the school feeding programme to guarantee its success in the North West state.
The federal government gave the admonition when the Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding (SSAPSFP), Dr. Yetunde Adeniji met with the Kaduna state deputy governor, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe and other top state officials in Kaduna State.
Amongst her history were the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon. Yusuf Liman, and the Executive Chairman of the state Inland Revenue Services (KADIRS), Mr. Jerry Adam to achieve the goal.
Adeniji was in Kaduna to flag off the First phase of the Value for Money (VFM) and explore collaborative opportunities to advance educational initiatives and ensure sustainable progress in the school feeding program across the state.
According to her, the visit which marked the second stage of the nationwide VFM study underscores the presidency commitment to fostering dialogue and cooperation for the benefit of every child in Kaduna.
Checks revealed that the Lunch for the VFM Research Program kicked off in Osun State last May 2024. The project aims to ensure the program delivers maximum impact for schoolchildren and ensure that optimum return on investment are delivered to the Government.
Adeniji disclosed to her host that her visit was a collaborative engagement to advance educational initiatives and ensure sustainable progress in the school feeding program across the state.
