A stalwart of the All Progressives congress (APC) in Oyo State, Mr Olayinka Gbolahan, has said that prayer is the only solution to Nigeria’s problem.
Gbolahan made this known in a statement to felicitate with Muslim faithful as they celebrate Eid-el-Filtr across the world.
He said people should be on their kneels at this juncture to keep praying for the peace, unity and stability of the state and Nigeria in general.
He also urged Nigerians to shun religious acrimony and coexist peacefully as nothing could be achieved without peace, saying people should be inspired by the virtues gained during the month of Ramadan.
While condemning the killing, banditry and kidnapping in all nooks and crannies of Nigeria, Gbolahan said those acts were ungodly, adding that Islam preaches peace, justice and fairness.
He used the opportunity to commend the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akanmu Adetunji and the Olubadan-in Council, for their support to residents of Ibadan in all ramifications.
