The Commissioner of Police, Imo State, CP Abutu Yaro
The Imo State Police Command has discovered the burnt body of the IPOB/ESN Juju priest identified as Pascal Okeke in one of their camps.
The discovery came as a result of the ceaseless raids by the Police on IPOB / ESN camps all over the state and its environs.
The Commissioner of Police, Imo State, CP Abutu Yaro, in a statement endorsed by his Media Adviser, CSP Michael Abattam, said that the Police Command carried out successful raids that neutralised the terror groups.
He said the remnants of IPOB/ESN terror groups turned the gun on their juju priest, one Paschal Okeke of Umudim Ukwu Orji Awomama in Oru East LGA of Imo State.
According to the CP, the IPOB/ESN shot Pascal, cut his remains, decapitated the head and burnt the body and his house for the futile efficacy of the charms he had given the group over time and the colossal failure to protect them from Police bullets.
Abutu Yaro said that large sums of money were funnelled to the deceased with promises of invisibility and protection from the bullets from the Police troops.
The CP commended officers and men of the Imo Command in the ongoing campaign to decimate armed terrorists who disguised as IPOB/ ESN militia.
He warned in strong terms, the remnants of the terror groups to return to peace and get rehabilitated or face unforeseen consequences.
The commissioner called on Imolites to go about their lawful business without fear of molestation as nightlife had returned to the state.
