Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), on Monday stormed the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the Party holding in Abuja.
Those in attendance are Hon Aminu Tambwal of Sokoto, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Ben Ayande of Cross Rivers, Nyesom Wike of Rivers, Bello Matawalle of Zamfara, Amadu Fintiri of Adamawa and Mrs Cecilia Ezilo, Deputy governor of Enugu State.
Also in attendance at the NEC meeting are three former President of the Senate, the Vice Presidential Candidate of the party in the last Presidential election, Peter Obi and others.

Addressing the opening session, the National Chairman of the Party, Prince Uche Secodus called on the National Assembly to expedite action on the electoral reforms ahead of the 2023 elections to correct all the shortcomings of the last elections.
They came just as the Sokoto State governor, Tambwal was named as the new Chairman of the Party’s forum to replace the incumbent, Seriake Dickson who would be leaving office in two weeks time.
