The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has pegged the cost of its nomination and expression of interest forms for the Anambra State governorship election at ₦35 million and ₦5 million, respectively, bringing the total to ₦40 million.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled the Anambra governorship election for Saturday, November 8, 2025.

The party outlined its electoral timetable in a letter addressed to the PDP Anambra State Chairman, Chidi Chidebe.

The letter was also copied to the party’s National Secretary, Sunday Ude-Okoye, and other members of the National Working Committee (NWC).

The correspondence, dated February 13, was signed by PDP National Organising Secretary Umar Bature.

The timetable indicates that the deadline for the submission of nomination forms is March 7, while the screening of aspirants will take place on March 11.

Any appeals regarding the screening process must be submitted by March 14.
