A passenger whose name was yet to be confirmed by press time on Monday, slumped authorities, on Sunday slumped and died at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano State.
According to an eyewitness account, the passenger, who was travelling to Abuja, was about to board a plane when he slumped.

The source, who wants to remain anonymous, further disclosed that the deceased was with a colleague from Jigawa State and that they were on their way to Abuja to attend a seminar when the incident occurred.
It was learnt that immediately the incident occurred, aviation authorities at the airport quickly rushed the deceased to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead.
As of the time of filing this report, the management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and the police at the airport declined to comment on the incident when the Nigerian Tribune sought to know what actually happened.
