PAAU: Group commends Gov Bello for renaming Kogi State University

THE decision to rename the Kogi State University, Ayingba, to Prince Abubakar Audu University by Gov Yahaya Bello has been described as another honour well deserved for the late politician, that has met the long yearning and desires of the Late Prince Abubakar Audu, his immediate and political family as well as the entire citizens of Kogi State.

Comr Ali Atabor, Coordinator CEDO Media Network made the assertion shortly after the renaming, described the decision as long overdue, politically expedient, says it goes to confirm that Gov Yahaya Bello listens and sensitive to the issues that would engender peaceful political coexistence.

Comr Atabor commended the decision as courageous, and another political sagacity displayed by Gov Bello in ensuring inclusiveness. He said the late Prince Abubakar Audu would even in his place of rest be proud of the decision, particularly that even while alive he had clamoured for him.

Comr Atabor observed that nothing could have been more honourable to the late Prince Abubakar Audu like immortalising his name with the University that he laboured to establish, praised Gov Bello for his pro-activeness, in building bridges, healing wounds and for giving a sense of belonging to the Late Prince Abubakar Audu family.

By the decision, Comr Atabor observed that another political milestone has been achieved by Gov Bello, pointing out that the renaming would serve as the final straw that has broken the leftover of the few oppositions still left in the state.

The Coordinator CEDO Media Network described the November 16 governorship election as having systematically won by the APC led administration by reasons of strategic and good political thinking, described the Bello Onoja ticket as the best option for the sustained development of the state.

Comr Atabor urged the people of the state to expect more positive contributions from Gov Bello in his second term, pointing out that having had a fulfilled first term, it would be suicidal experimenting with a neophyte in driving a challenged state, that the present administration has placed already on the path of growth and development.

Comr Atabor commended the governor for his wise decision to honour the former governor through immortalising his name for the generation coming behind, assured that the decision would attract for him overwhelming support in the coming Saturday’s governorship election.

The Coordinator urged the people to turn out in their large number to vote for the Gov Yahaya Bello’s APC, pointing out that the people having left Egypt, should not think of returning as the coming years of the administration would be prosperous.
