Former Osun State Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has commiserated with the family and associates of the pioneer chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Layi Ogunrinade, describing his death as a huge loss to Osun State.
Chief Ogunrinade, aged 80, died on Tuesday.
Prince Oyinlola in a statement said Chief Ogunrinade could appropriately be described as a key strongman of Osun politics given his exploits and achievements as Local Government chairman, state PDP chairman and later an elder statesman.
He prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed and for God to be with those he left behind.
