The Resident Electoral Commissioner in Osun, Olusegun Agbaje, has declared the governorship election as inconclusive.
The keenly contested governorship election couldn’t produce a clear winner, hence, the declaration as inconclusive.
The Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Sen Ademola Adeleke garnered a total vote of 254,698 to lead the poll, he was closely followed by his All Progressive Congress candidate, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, who garnered 254,345.

Mr Agbaje commended the people of Osun for their comportment throughout the election process and announced that a later result would be communicated.

The PDP is leading with some 300 plus votes, they should double their effort to win the area that will decide this election.
This is a very good message to any party whose governors are owing workers.
