Chairman interparty advisory council, (IPAC), Osun State Chapter, Mr Adewale Adebayo, has charged Osun residents to shun violence and anti-patriotic activities in the state.
The IPAC Chair said this in a congratulatory message to all Muslims in the state in celebration of Eid Kabir.
According to him, IPAC welcomes innovative and result-oriented people with ideologies that guarantee progress and development in the state.
“On behalf of the Allied Peoples Movement Osun State Chapter, I wish to congratulate all Muslim Faithfuls on this glorious Eid Kabir celebration.
“This season coincides with when our Nation is going through stormy waters, but in all, we have seen every reason to be grateful to God to enable us to see another season of celebration. Our thanksgiving is hinged on the fact that God is mindful of our affairs.
“This, therefore, calls for our heartfelt prayers to God Almighty especially in this season to touch and intervene in the anarchy that has plagued our land. We desire a divine turn around and only God can make it happen.
He said, “as Osun State IPAC Chairman, I also wish to encourage the good people of Osun to shun any form of violence or anti-patriotic activities that can dent the image of the state even as we are edging closer to elections in the state.
“Let us duly engage in the registration exercises by INEC.
“Our Party still remains a party that welcome innovative and result orientated minds that further culminate to form structures that births superior ideologies that guarantees progress and development across all strata. We are sure that in months to come the essence of our relevance will be heralded.
“Lastly I wish to encourage all Muslim faithful in the state to be a good ambassador of Islam and follow religiously the tenants of the Islamic faith for peace and equity,” he said.
