GOVERNOR Samuel Ortom of Benue State has felicitated with Muslim across the country and the state in particular over this year’s Eid-el-Fitr.
In a message to Muslim in the state, the governor assured that necessary measures were put in place to guarantee hitch-free celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr.
This was contained in the statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase.

Ortom urged Muslim faithful to promote the values and lessons of Ramadan such as piety, generosity, peaceful coexistence and justice.
He acknowledged and appreciated the prayers made by Muslim any time the state was confronted by challenges.
Part of the statement read, “The Governor assures the people of the state that security of lives and property will remain the priority of the present administration in his second term in office.
“Governor Ortom wishes all Muslims a joyful, peaceful and memorable Eid -el-Fitri celebration.
