The highly anticipated fifth edition of the annual musical praise concert, Simpli Praise 5.0, is set to return with greater grandeur and spirit, promising an unforgettable night of worship and celebration.

This year’s edition, themed Chosen Generation, is a powerful call to lift God in joyful thanksgiving for His countless blessings. According to the convener, Evangelist Dr. Edna Wuraola Ubebe, Simpli Praise is more than an event; it’s a heartfelt expression of gratitude. “Praise and thanksgiving go hand in hand, as thanking God offers appreciation for who He is,” she shared.

Headlining the event is His Imperial Majesty Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, who will grace the occasion as the royal father of the day. His presence underscores the cultural and spiritual significance of the concert, uniting royalty and faith in a celebration of divine greatness.

On the musical front, the lineup boasts an array of gospel heavyweights ready to lead the audience into a powerful worship experience. The revered Evangelist Dr. Funmi Aragbaiye, the soulful Tope Alabi, the energetic Mike Abdul, and the dynamic Dare Justified will be among the top-tier ministers delivering awe-inspiring performances. Their collective talent and passion for worship promise an electrifying atmosphere that will resonate with attendees long after the event.

The concert is scheduled to take place on December 24th at the iconic Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, beginning at 6 PM. As the perfect prelude to Christmas, Simpli Praise 5.0 offers an opportunity for individuals and families to come together in a spirit of unity and thanksgiving.
