THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday warned Nigerians not to grant a second tenure to President Muhammadu Buhari as doing so is an invitation to totalitarianism.
Addressing a press conference in Abuja, Kola Ologbondiyan, Director, Media & Publicity PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, said Nigerians must be ready to defend the country against fascism.
He said: “The PPCO urges all compatriots to note that any vote for APC is an endorsement of fascism and allowing President Buhari another tenure will be a pathway to full totalitarianism, where citizens would be treated as vassals in a conquered territory.
“Today, our freedom and personal liberty as a people are under threat. Our rights as constitutionally guaranteed as citizens are about to be completely taken away. Our last lines of defence as free people; our legislature and our judiciary are also under siege.
“We are all witnesses to the unrelenting assault on the institution of the judiciary and the courts by the Buhari Presidency and the APC. This siege on the Judiciary has now come to a climax with the widely condemned attempt by the Buhari Presidency and the APC to forcefully remove the Chief Justice of Nigeria, (CJN) Justice Walter Onnoghen.

“In spite of widespread condemnation, President Buhari and the APC have refused to show remorse. If anything, they have carried on as if Nigerians are already a conquered people.
“This ignoble act is with the view to replace Justice Onnoghen with a pliable CJN that will execute the plot to annex the court and use them to curtail freedom of expression and to silence opposition members as well as perceived opponents of the Buhari administration ahead of the February election.
“Such an attempt at annexations is to subject judicial officers under the control of the Attorney General to determine and even write judgments on political and human rights cases and cover atrocities of anti-democratic forces.
“The world can recall how the Buhari Presidency, in a widely condemned ‘sting operation’ in 2016, used the Directorate of State Services (DSS) to hound and round up sitting Supreme Court and High Court judges in Nigeria.
“Since that ‘sting operation’, our judiciary Nigeria has remained under siege with the agents of the Buhari Presidency and the APC directly interfering in cases and trying to direct the rulings of courts.
“Nigerians and the world can recall also how agents of the Buhari Presidency and the APC, last year, besieged and attempted to forcefully remove the elected leadership of the National Assembly; the symbol of our democracy.
“Nigerians will also recall how the APC and the Buhari Presidency used apparatus of state powers to seal the legislative complex, unleashed thugs to invade the Senate chamber, disrupted legislative proceedings and forcefully carted away the mace, the emblem of the sovereignty and authority of the people.
“In our slide into fascism, Nigerians are daily falling victims of extreme torture, illegal detention, extra-judicial and arbitrary killings, a forceful crackdown on peaceful protesters and mass burial by unrestrained agents of the state, as detailed in the 2017/2018 Amnesty International (AI) Human Rights Report.
“In the same vein, there have been concerted efforts by the government to gag the media leading to the manhandling of journalists and invasion of media houses over reports considered unfavourable to the government.
“Furthermore, Nigerians can recall how the Buhari Presidency attempted to inject crisis into the electoral process with the delay in the presentation of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) election budget and the refusal by President Buhari to sign the amendments to the Electoral Act which eliminates openings for rigging.
“This is in addition to the widely condemned foisting of Mrs Amina Zakari, President Buhari’s relation by marriage, as head of the collation of results of the Presidential poll as well as plot to use the Police as suppressive tool to intimidate voters and assist APC agents to unleash violence and manipulate the process, for which President Buhari is bent on retaining the overtly partisan Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris even when his tenure had expired.
“This administration has turned out to be the most vicious in the history of our nation. Nigerians and the world must, therefore, rise in condemnation of this dangerous drift towards, Hitler’s Germany, Mussolini’s Italy, Idi Amin’s Uganda, Charles Taylor’s Liberia and Than Shwe’s Burma.
“Perhaps, President Buhari has forgotten that Nigeria is a democratic state, and needs to be reminded that as a people, we have chosen democracy as a form of government with the personal freedom, liberty and rule of law that it guarantees. Nigerians will never accept any kind of draconian rule and dictatorial tendencies.”
The PDP said it had to make a clarion call to Nigerians to brace up for the February 16, 2019, Presidential election as the only way to defend and save the nation from “the fascism being plotted by the Muhammadu Buhari Presidency and the All Progressives Congress (APC).”
The campaign spokesman observed that Nigerians are already aware that the APC and the Buhari Presidency are not serious with campaigns ahead of the Presidential elections.
He stated: “They know that the APC and its candidate, President Buhari are seeking ways to enmesh the election in crisis, stalemate the electoral process and pave the way for rigging and actualization of plots to perpetuate President Buhari in office.
“With the prevailing state of our polity; the flagrant violation of our constitution, continuous attacks on institutions of democracy and principle of separation of powers, consistent abuse of human rights, erosion of personal freedom, uninhibited extra-judicial killings, illegal detention, attack on peaceful protesters, clampdown on the media and vocal members of the Civil Society, as well as the unleashing of brutality on innocent citizens, that have characterized the Buhari Presidency; it is manifestly clear that our nation is on a rapid descent into fascism, which we must all resist with our votes.”
The main opposition party, therefore, charged all Nigerians; “all victims of injustice and brutality of the Buhari Presidency; all victims of the mindless killings encouraged by the insensitivity of the Buhari Presidency; all those impoverished by the corruption and incompetence of the Buhari administration and all lovers of democracy in Nigeria to get ready to defend our nation and save her from fascism by voting out President Buhari on February 16, 2019.”
Ologbodiyan posited that the February Presidential election is, therefore, a referendum for the nation’s freedom, adding: “We make a clarion call on Nigerians to vote in defence of our nation. We must vote in defence of our rights and lives as free citizens; we must vote in defence of rule of law and resistance of repressive forces and political bandits seeking to foist a fascist regime on our nation.”
We like it if it is under pmb Mr itegraty
The next general elections is between the EXTREMELY POOR MASSES and the EXTREMELY RICH THIEVES.
Obasajo in his book “My Watch”on pages 32 and 49, said he stole fron Nigeria but that what he stole is NOTHING compared with what Atiku stole.
I pray that God takes side with the poor and disgrace those who think Nigeria belongs to only them while the masses are slaves.
Kabiru Abdu
Integrity indeed….!
Meanwhile, WE HAVE A CASE HERE ALREADY………!
WHY SHOULD THE JUDICIARY ALLOW BUHARI TO CONTEST FOR ELECTION WHEN HE HAS NO WAEC CERTIFICATE! IS FORGERY NO LONGER A CRIME?
Buhari forged waec certificate and magu is still quiet! Wow!!!! Such impunity!!!!
After forging waec certificate, Buhari is still president without being impeached.
Which original record is waec talking about again? What about the 2015 original record?
APC has stated that it will not submit Buhari’s certificate to INEC. Why? We all know the everything about Buhari is forgery.
How old was Buhari when he wrote waec? Was he 75 years old? He looks so.
It seems to me that Buhari just wrote this exams because in 2016 waec office had claimed that they do not have any record that Buhari wrote waec. They said this when the court told waec office to produce his result.
When did waec get this result they now call attestation?
Did Buhari write waec recently?
So many questions to ask here:
1. There is a 75 year old portrait of Buhari on the attestation. Was this how old Buhari was when he wrote waec?
2. Buhari claimed military was with his credentials. Yet Military could not produce his credentials.
3. In 2016, Buhari hired 15 SANs who tried to defend the fact that he had a waec certificate. Still between 2015 and and 1st November 2018 Buhari still had no waec certificate to present. Will SANs continue to support buhari’s corruption and forged waec certifcate? The judiciary must save our democracy and disqualify buhari from contesting in 2019 election.
4. Suddenly, Now the same waec which had no record of Buhari’s waec exams in 2016, is issuing Buhari an attestation.
5. When did waec start issuing attestation as notification of result or in lieu of a waec certificate without making reference to the original document?
6. Where did waec get those grades from, when they had no waec record of Buhari as of 2016?
7. Did Buhari just write waec?
8. How old was Buhari when he wrote waec?
9. Where (which centre) did Buhari write his waec exams considering that Katsina state was not created in the 1960s. Yet they claim that a college in Katsina has his waec result.
My father’s local government area is now in another state different from the state he had claimed, because of creation of state. His old original birth certificate and certificate of origin still bears the name of the old state where the local government area was. The name katsina state did not exist in the 1960s. Where did Buhari write his waec exams?
10. Where is the original document from which the attestation was made? Waec must provide it. Waec claims it has original record. Which one? Is it the 2015 original record which was defended by 15 SANs in court and which is quite different from the 2018 attestation? Or is Waec talking about another original record?
11. How may original records does Buhari have?
12. How many times did Buhari take Waec exams?
13. Already in 2015 original Waec record Buhari failed mathematics and woodwork. In 2018 attestation there is no mathematics and so many other discrepancies. There are different names in both certificates. When did Buhari change his name? We need to see change of name notification. ……So many forgeries. ….!
14. Ghana has also confirmed that they do not have Buhari’s waec records.
15. All the people Buhari wrote waec with, are dead. No one can testify for him.
16. Hausa language was included as a waec subject just recently. When did Buhari write his waec exams, if he wrote it at all? We need the original document.
17. Mathematics is not included in the attestation. Where did they keep mathematics? If Buhari failed mathematics, it means that Buhari failed waec exams and must rewrite it. Where is the original template? No wonder APC cannot present this 2018 attestation or the 2015 record. They will both automatically disqualify Buhari from running as president because he failed Waec or better put ‘Buhari forged Waec certificate.’ It’s a criminal offense.
18. The fact that Buhari has forged his waec certificate is criminal and he forged it 2 times. Meaning he committed the same crime 2 times. Why is Buhari not arrested for crime of forgery? Why has Buhari not resigned? Why is Buhari not in jail?
19. When and where did Buhari write his waec exams when katsina state was not created in 1960s?
20. When did waec start including passport photo in certificate?
21. Etc
BUHARI HAS NO WAEC CERTIFICATE!
Waec has insulted the intelligence of Nigerians and has indeed disgraced all of West Africa. Shame on waec.
Waec must provide the original document they used to issue this attestation to the court.
The judiciary must step into this matter. We cannot continue to tolerate impunity. Nigeria is finished if we continue to allow this kind of evil to prevail.
We know how corrupt Buhari and APC are. They have wrapped up waec in corruption. Waec is supposed to represent integrity and credibility. Waec must be questioned.
NASS and the judiciary MUST save nigeria
Another chance for PDP presidency is a total genocide, impunity, sentiment and marginalization!
When an hopeless theif is ranting, the best thing for people with sound minds to keep quiet until he is arrange in court of law. imagine somebody who surpose to give a good account of his stewardship to the Nation, is the corrupt man that the government law enforcement agent is taken to court to give account of his ill gotting wealth,Oh !what a shame for somebody who call himself CJN.

We like it like that.when James ibori was jailed in south Africa, NBA and others criminals in Nigeria did not go to south Africa to protest. No wonder Allison Madueke said she should come to Nigeria for her trial, because NBA and criminal like her will stage a protest against FGN.Let south south people think very well because their criminality is too much in this country of which foreign country is aware.
