Ondo PDP commends Gov Makinde on achievements in two years in office

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo state has commended Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State for various developmental projects he has embarked upon within the first two years in government.

This was contained in a congratulatory  statement signed by the State Chairman of the party, Fatai Adams, who said Makinde Makinde has performed appreciably well and raised the bar of leadership and governance in the country.

Adams commended for embarking on priority and life changing projects, saying it was clear indications thag Makinde meant well for the people of Oyo State.

The letter read: “The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ondo State Chapter Congratulates Engr. Seyi Makinde on the second year anniversary of his remarkable achievements as Governor of Oyo State.

“You have proven to be a worthy and exemplary ambassador of our party, hinged on the strength of dividends of democracy delivered to the people of Oyo State.

“The accolades you have received from your people and around the world testify that, indeed the PDP is the only hope for our country Nigeria.”

Fatai, however said, “On behalf of the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate for Ondo 2020, Eyitayo Jegede, the State Executive Committee, leaders and all members of our party in Ondo State, we rejoice and celebrate with you on this auspicious occasion.

“It is on record that, you stood with us all through the Ward and Local Government Congresses, as well as the State Congress that ushered in the present State Executive Committee.

“Your efforts and support during the Governorship Elections earned you our appreciation and  honour at all times.

“We join our party supporters in Oyo State and indeed across Nigeria to wish you God’s favour and wisdom as you continue to lead not only Oyo State but the entire Southwest PDP.”
