The death toll of the last Thursday bank robbery in Ile-Oluji Okeigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State has risen to five as the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone XI, Bashir Makama, assured that those behind the attack would be brought to book.
Makama stated this during a visit to the scene of the attack where the hoodlums killed four-person including two policemen during the attacks on two commercial banks in the ancient town.
The AIG comprising of Ondo, Osun and Oyo States, condemned the killing of innocent persons and policemen during the attack, assuring the people of the state and others within the zone other states of adequate security.
Speaking at the palace of the Jegun of Ile-Oluji, Oba Julius Oluwole Adetimehin, the police boss said adequate security measures would be put in place to forestall re-occurrence of the ugly incident.

He sought the cooperation of people of the community for prompt and useful information that could help the police in their investigation.
It will be recalled that four persons were shot dead by daredevil armed men who invaded two commercial banks in Ile Oluji on Thursday.
The incident threw the town into serious mourning, even as it paralysed commercial activities in the town and its environs.
The robbery incident is the third in the last one year in the state.
