Students and youths in Ogun State have vowed to deliver 20,000 votes for the governorship candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) in the state, Hon Abdulkabir Akinlade.
The students and youths under the umbrella of Triple A Students and Youths Campaign Organisation stated this while inaugurating its secretariat at Abiola Way in Abeokuta, the state capital.
The State Coordinator of the organisation Comrade Olusegun Clement also appealed to Akinlade who is a presently a member of the House of Representatives to ensure that youths constitute important aspects of his government.
Clement who is also the Special Adviser on students matters to the Governor Ibikunle Amosun, however, urged members of the organisation to continue the house-to-house campaign which began about a month ago.
Clement said, “I want to use this medium to tell our ‘incoming governor’ by God’s grace that we are fully ready for this election as we have started a house-to-house campaign for the past one month.
