The absence of Chief Magistrate Court two sitting in Makurdi, presided by Issac Ajim, on Thursday forced the case of the lecturer who allegedly raped the little Ochanya to adjourn to December 14.
Late Miss Elizabeth Ochanya Ogbanje was allegedly raped to death by his guardian Andrew Ogbuja and his son, Victor.
The case which came up yesterday the November 29th, 2018  was later  adjourned due to absence of the Magistrate.
The  presiding magistrate,  Isaac Agim was said to have gone for a National Conference of lawyers in Abuja.
Meanwhile, Concerned Nigerians and various  civil society  groups including men and women of all age stormed the court premises to witness the court proceedings.

But many of them expressed disappointment that the case could not hold.
Addressing newsmen at the court premises,the state Attorney General and commissioner for Justice, Mr Mike Gusa said the adjournment was not deliberate assuring that the  case would be given due attention in the next adjournment date.
Mr Gusa assured the readiness of the judiciary to ensure that justice was given to Ochanya, saying  that state government  would leave no stone unturned until justice prevail to serve as a deterrent to others.
