The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced plans to operate special end-of-year train services to commemorate the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
In a statement issued on Wednesday and signed by the NRC National Spokesman, Mr. Yakub Mahmood, the corporation stated that the initiative is part of the government’s effort to ensure an enjoyable end-of-year celebration for Nigerians.

According to the statement, “The management of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), in compliance with the Federal Government’s directive through the Federal Ministry of Transportation, hereby informs the general public that the NRC will operate special end-of-year train services in commemoration of the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
“This end-of-year special train service on scheduled passenger trains is part of the government’s effort to enhance the festive season experience.
