NPFL promotion: Fakorede lauds 3SC for thrashing Ekiti United

The Immediate past Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State, Honourable Seun Fakorede has lauded and celebrated the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) over their win 6-0 win against Ekiti United.

Fakorede also congratulated the renowned Ibadan-based football club on its promotion into the Nigerian Professional Football League.

3SC has been playing in the second tier of the Nigeria football league popularly known as the Nigerian National League 2 (NNL) since 2017. The great intervention of the Seyi Makinde-led administration in Oyo state in sports activities has, however, resuscitated the fading glory of 3SC.

Honourable Fakorede, while in office, supervised most of the activities which included, the renovation of the home stadium, Lekan Salami Stadium, timely payment of emoluments and recognitions etc.

Speaking with Journalists after 3SC emerged victorious against Ekiti United in a 6-0 Match, he said “this is a great moment to be a supporter of the Oluyole Warrior, indeed, they have proved to be a great team and their eventual success is a great accolade to demonstrate for the present administration.”
