Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, turns 70 today (Tuesday).
The popular Nollywood actor is known for his peculiar role in several movies.
He is considered one of Africa’s most talented actors, who is also known for his role in movies such as Egg of Life, In God we Trust.
He became prominent when he played Okonkwo in Chinua Achebe’s all time bestselling novel “Things Fall Apart,” which was aired on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
Edochie is also known for his role in movies as a leader of a cult, an Igwe, a wicked step father or uncle, a chief, a king or a native doctor among several other roles.
He is married to Josephine Edochie and he has six children.
His son, Yul, wished him a happy birthday by posting a picture of his dad on his Instagram page with a caption: “Happy 70th birthday to my father, Chief Pete Edochie. I thank God for your life and I pray you see many more great years. God be with you always dad.”
