Noise pollution in our society

Published by

I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities to increasing problem of noise pollution in the city because it causes great damage to the health.

It is harmful to physical and mental health of people; this also leads to irritation, loss of sleep and peace around the community. Persistent noise pollution causes a loss of sense of hearing.

Noise pollution is allowed to go unchecked, it may rob the people of their hearing capacity. Increasing number of vehicles on the road, rising figure of factories, construction work, loudspeakers used on various occasions, rock and pops, cause lots of problem.

It is time that the authorities should awake against the danger of noise pollution. They should strictly enforce the noise control laws. The noise producing factories located in the residential areas should be shifted afar, while loudspeaker should be stopped after specific time.

Above all, we all need to be cautious of the damages noise causes to our body and how it’s affecting our health; private organisations should be considerate of people living around them. Bakery, pure water companies, among others. I’m using this medium to plead with concerned authorities to come to our aid.

It is earnestly hoped that concerned authorities will take immediate and urgent action on this issue to release people from the harmful effect of noise pollution.
