A cross section of Nigerians under the auspices of Nigerians in Diaspora Monitoring Group (NDMG) has shunned the trending claims in some quarters suggesting that the incumbent President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari is an impostor known as “Jubrin from Sudan”.
In a statement issued by the group on Sunday in London, United Kingdom, they tagged the rumor mongers as a group of mentally derailed fellows who urgently needs the attention of a psychiatrist.
The statement which was signed by Engr Francis Adeka, President of the forum, reads in part:
“The claim is being bolstered with a poor rendition and understanding of scientific procedures like cloning, face transplant among others, which proves that those that are carrying this fake news need mental intervention.

“The fake claim would have been considered humorous but for the fact that it has attained the first position of the most ridiculous and hare-brained in the annals of conspiracy theories.
“It is a story meant to prey on the gullible by reason of limited mental capacity, whose numbers seem to be increasing on daily basis. Sadly, those peddling the fake news about cloning have even lesser mental capacity than the people they are deceiving.
“The leading organization on cloning was categorical in stating that “Gene cloning is the most common type of cloning done by researchers at the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI).
“NHGRI researchers have not cloned any mammals and NHGRI does not clone humans,” the group maintained.
The group further shamed the rumours stating that proponents of the fallacy are using a 1997 Sci-Fi thriller, Face/Off, as prop in their illogical argument saying there has been a face swap between President Buhari and Jubrin.
According to the statement:
“In the medical world, there has been a handful of partial and full face transplants but the recipients of the face transplant look nothing like the donors; and of course the new faces come with some level of distortion with the risk of rejection for which the patients take a cocktail of mediation for life.
“Even more childish is the flipping and reversing of photographs of President Buhari to claim that one version is right handed while the other is left handed, which is a photo trick that is achievable with the most basic photo editing software,” they lashed.
The group also traced the failed scheme connected to the ranting of a fugitive known as Nnamdi Kanu, who makes regular broadcasts to repeat the content of his hallucinations and to “one Femi Fani-Kayode, who has changed affiliations faster than a pendulum swings”.
The statement reads further:
“It is most unfortunate that some politicians are now peddling the concoction of these type of people instead of offering them the mental help they urgently need.
“Contrary to scoring the desired political points against President Buhari, promoters of this cloning conspiracy have instead presented themselves to the world as feeble and unfit to pilot the affairs of their own country to the extent that they do not have the basic understanding of how concepts like cloning and organ transplant work.
“They have also done damage at the international relations level because their claims amounts to accusing world leaders that have met President Buhari of being part of the conspiracy they are alleging, which cannot be the case since these nations have not just the technology but also the intelligence gathering capabilities to know if they are dealing with a clone or the real person”.
NDMG urged Nigerians to shut down the network of those peddling this unintelligent story, since its purveyors rely on people sharing their lie and fake news on chat fora and social media platforms the simple decision not to share will go a long way in addressing the spread of fake news while appealing to Nigerians to devote funds to facilitate a psychiatric intervention for the rumour mongers.
Is Nigerians in diaspora or APC members in diaspora?
The promoter is not only insane but must be beasts, that such rumour is coming from some gullible Igbo youths shows how much the present Igbo generation is Missing by rejecting education for comerce
Nigeria in diaspora they say not Acc in diaspora. Only sick people support this rubbish. Because he was sick and reshaped, so they expect him to remain like that for ever right? If he is one of those people saying that rubbish father would they support it? Will u support that if he is ur father? At least he has achieved what the father of 100% of them can never achieve for their entirety. You believe that right?
PDP IS A DEN OF KILLERS -(Prof. Wole Soyinka)
Read through PDP’s killing history.
Like I stated earlier, may Atiku’s competence not kill all of you. Before this dispensation, under PDP’s misrule, which Atiku was actively part of for 8yrs, nearly all murder cases were swept under the carpet and remain unresolved. To the extent an Attorney General was killed!
Late Chief Bola Ige, as a sitting Attorney General of the Federation was shot dead in his bedroom in Bodija, Ibadan in December 23, 2001.
Similarly, Chief Aminasaoari Dikibo, PDP Deputy National Chairman was ambushed near Asaba in daylight and was murdered in October 22, 2004.
What about the gruesome cold blood murder of Dr. Harry Marshal on March 05, 2003, at the climax for the 2003 presidential elections? Google who his son and family are accusing of masterminding his assassination. The killers are within us.
A rundown of some of the notable assassinations between 1999 – 2014:-
Janet Oladape, PDP leader in Odigbo LGA clubbed to death by gunmen on August 13, 2002.

The assasination of DIPO DINA was a huge personal loss to me. On Monday, January 25, 2010 assassins shot and killed him around Covenant University, Ota. Dipo Dina was AC guber candidate in 2007. Gbenga Daniel indicated recently that Amosun should be investigated for his death.
Unlike now that we are all free to tweet nonsense at Buhari, In the years under review, your freedom to life as a journalists, after excising your freedom of speech was not guaranteed. Godwin Agbroko, Chairman, ThisDay Editorial Board was assassinated on December 22, 2006.
Another ThisDay journalist, Abayomi Ogundeji, was murdered on August 17, 2008. Those who know better are insisting that his death may have been political. People who are aware at about this period in our political history knew it was dangerous working at ThisDay Newspapers then.
Another journalist, Bayo Ohu of Guardian Newspapers was shot dead on a Sunday, September 20, 2009 by a gang of 5 men and a woman in his home in Egbeda, Lagos. Bayo Ohu was working on the Certificate Forgery story of Customs Controller General, Abdullahi Dikko before his murder.

The list is endles s! This isn’t to say the internal security has improved today, but at least, so far, we have little or no political scores settled by political assassins.
Nigerians please think twice and do not use your hands and resources to return PDP to power. A vote for PDP at the center is a vote for return of political assassination across the states and Abuja. Do not forget the battle to end Boko Haram bequeathed to us to settle political scores with one of their own, GEJ is still on. The heightened herdsmen/farmers crisis is researched as political blackmail tool of the opposing PDP. Innocent souls were lost in four states in north central.
Ask yourself, how old is Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria history?
How come they were not deadly under Buhari when he was a military head of state?
How come fulani/farmers massive killings in 2017 to mid 2018 has stopped after Nigerian govt delpoyee troops to Benue and arrests were made?
Is this the first time a Fulaniman will be president and commander in chief?
Can a government sponsored insecurity against herself?
Nigerians should ask questions and query every popanganda authored by opposing PAPA DECEIVING PINKIN PARTY (PDP). Let us reason together and answer above with sincerity. Do not fall for propaganda and blackmail of political class hungry for looting to resume at Aso Rock and massive looting in states without fear of the centrally controlled EFCC, ICPC and fear of GOD.
Vote for Next Level for rebuilding of Nigeria to continue in the interest of next generation. Let us endure the pains of rebuilding for tomorrow.
Pass this on……….
Joel Aderemi Kayode , u think the Igbos are missing in education? Whether commerce or education, u can’t find the Igbos missing. Go check from WAEC & JAMB records which states produce the largest number of candidates or even the highest scores. Let not ur political inclination blindfold u to reality. Just an advice.

BREAKING: U.S. Didn’t Grant Atiku Visa – Embassy
independent.ng Dec 1, 2018 11:30 PM
Contrary to reports that the United States has granted visa to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, after 13 years ban, INDEPENDENT authoritatively reports that he was never given visa.
An embassy source told INDEPENDENT that U.S. position on Atiku has not changed.
A family source confirmed to INDEPENDENT that Atiku only traveled to the UK and is also back in the country.
The family source said Atiku did not even apply for visa from the U.S. embassy as reported in the week.
The Federal Government fearing that the U.S. wanted to grant Atiku visa had cautioned that it would mean endorsing him for the 2019 election.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, gave the government position at an interactive session with media executives in Abuja on Thursday.
Mohammed had said that the government was aware of the move by the former Vice President to lobby the U.S. to lift the visa ban imposed on him.
He said, while the U.S. has the prerogative of whom to issue visa, it should be mindful of the timing, in order not to give the impression that Atiku has been endorsed by the U.S. government.
“We understand and appreciate the fact that it is the prerogative of the U.S. to grant a visa to anyone who applies.
“However, we want the U.S. to be neutral and be wary of taking any decision that will give the impression that they are favouring or endorsing one candidate over the other
“Impression must not be created that the U.S. government is endorsing one particular candidate over the other,’’ he had said.
The minister recalled that for years, there has been a kind of congressional bi-partisan investigation on corruption against certain individuals which had made it difficult for Atiku to secure a U.S. visa.
“I am sure you will all recall the Jefferson’s case and the cold 90,000 U.S. dollar in fridge.
“We are not unaware that Atiku has engaged the services of some lobbyists to persuade the U.S. to issue visa to him.
“Our position is that if the former Vice President is seeking the U.S. visa we have no problem about it.
“However, we want the U.S. government not to create the impression that it is endorsing one candidate over the other,’’ he said.
