President and founder of For All People Prayer and Deliverance Evangelical Ministry (FAPDEM), Iseyin, Oyo State, Prophet Olawuyi Peter Adeyemi shares with OLAIDE SOKOYA, his expectations from the current administration, and what God has revealed to him concerning Nigeria. Excerpts:

How has recession affected your church?

It has really affected our church negatively; all churches. We are facing a lot of challenges financially. However, we have no choice but to continue to pray for the country and to cry unto the Lord to revive and restore the glory of our land.

What is your assessment of the current administration and what do you foresee for the next two years?

The past two years of this administration has been good and promising, but also full of challenges. There is hardship in the country; there is famine and sickness. The cost of items are on the high side, and workers are owed salaries, which has made things more difficult. Let us hope all will be well soon. As clerics, we will keep praying to God to make the remaining years of the administration  more fruitful. We should pray more for the betterment of the country and our future. I pray it will be years of great achievements for us all.

What has God revealed to you concerning Nigeria?

God has revealed a lot to me concerning Nigeria and for Nigerians, some of which have come to pass. As God has revealed, there is going to be a great reward for those who serve Him wholeheartedly; He will bring evil people to judgment. He revealed at the beginning of this year that there would be hardship in the country, which we prayed to seek God’s mercy. He also revealed to me that there would be serious fire outbreak, scarcity of kerosene and religious crises. I urge all our airlines to be careful and pray against plane crashes. We are also praying concerning all these prophecies in our church, but Nigerians generally should be prayerful and careful as well.

What is the significance of your forthcoming programme, tagged Ko ye ko ri be?

It is a programme instructed by God which is aimed at changing every situation in our lives positively. It will come up from June 28 to July 2, 2017, at our covenant mountain. It is a programme that always changes lives and destinies.

What is your advice to our leaders?

I urge all our leaders to seek the face of God and repent from their evil ways. They should not promise the citizens what they cannot do. They should stop taking the name of God in vain. They should also pray concerning the FESTAC 1977; that is how I heard it. I don’t even know what happened during the time, I was still a kid then but that was what God told me. I have already prayed about it also.

What is your advice to all Nigerians?

According to what God also revealed to me, Nigerians must stop blaming our leaders for what is going on in the country. We should ask for forgiveness of sins. God told me Nigeria is suffering for the consequence of its sins; that He (God) is behind all what is happening in the country. God told me that Nigerians should all pick a day of reconciliation to ask for forgiveness of sins and the restoration of the country.
