The National Examination Council (NECO) has released the examination results for Kano State candidates after the state ministry of education through the state government secured funds for payment of the outstanding examination fees, owed by the state government.
The state Commissioner for Education, Malam Muhammad Sanusi Sa’id Kiru, noted that the release of the result will enable the students to secure admissions in tertiary institutions of their choice.
While urging the students to use the registration scratch cards in accessing and printing out their examination results, he further appealed to the general public to inculcate the habit of appreciating the government, considering the competing demands on the limited resources at its disposal.
The commissioner, therefore, commended the state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Murtala Sule Garo, and all the Chairmen of the 44 local government councils for their support in this direction.
He, however, reiterated the determination of the Kano State government to continue to support the education sector.
