According to him, the operation underscores the command’s ongoing efforts to tackle drug trafficking and abuse in the State, which pose serious threats to the safety and well-being of communities across the nation.

He stated that, “The command is currently conducting thorough investigations to identify the dealers among those arrested for the cause of this operation, with plans to prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.”

The command spokesman then added that” In line with its commitment to public health, the command will also refer those found to be using drugs to its drug demand reduction program for counseling.

He hinted that ” This dual approach aims not only to address the immediate issue of drug trafficking but also to provide support for individuals struggling with substance use.”

Maigatari, therefore, emphasised that the Command under the leadership of CN AI Ahmad assures the public that its operations will not be hindered by any obstacles, as the agency consistently employs a proactive approach to its operations and logistics.

He said that his commitment allows the NDLEA to effectively respond to emerging drug threats and maintain its relentless pursuit of drug traffickers and abusers.
