Comedian turned singer, Nasboi, has found himself at the centre of a social media storm after his recent clash with comedian, Dee One, and social media influencer/music star, Yhemolee.
The controversy began when Yhemolee criticised Nasboi on a podcast, cautioning him against getting carried away by the overnight success of his latest song, “Umbrella,” featuring music star, Wande Coal.
Yhemolee, a fan of Nasboi’s comedy skits, expressed skepticism about the comedian’s foray into the music industry, advising him to focus on content creation.
Nasboi, not one to take criticism lightly, fired back at Yhemolee, defending his decision to venture into music and warning against denigrating his craft.
The exchange of words escalated when Dee One and a legion of online trolls, seemingly loyal to the comedian, joined the fray, cautioning Nasboi against arrogance.
