Nasarawa govt to commence transition activities Friday

The Nasarawa state government has on Tuesday said it would commence transitional programs to smooth handing over to the next government.

State commissioner for information, Zakari Jameel, who made this known to pressmen in Lafia, said the event would commence with Juma’a prayer on Friday at the central mosque, Lafia.

He said there would be also interdenominational church service on Sunday at St William Cathedral church, Lafia.

The Commissioner further said that part of the activities to marking the event are: novelty football match, live media chart and gala night.

He stated that arrangement is on the ground to provide the adequate provision of security in all chains of activities.
