The Nigeria Association of Computing Students (NACOS), Borno State Chapter, has officially appointed Umaru Yakubu Kirawa, the Northeast Correspondent for News Central, as its new Ambassador.
The announcement was made in a statement signed by the President of NACOS, Borno State Chapter, Comrade Ibrahim Abubakar, on Thursday.
According to the statement, Umaru Kirawa’s outstanding contributions and dedication as a digital journalist have not gone unnoticed.
“As a digital journalist, your tireless efforts and commitment to our Association’s growth and success have been recognized. Your appointment is a testament to your exceptional leadership qualities and passion for the welfare of computing students.”

NACOS is an umbrella body for students studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, and all IT-related courses in Nigeria. The association has been in existence for over two decades.
