Since 2018, I have had problems with severe pains in my anus which has led to constipation. My belly is very stuffy and airtight . I always want to fart but I can’t. In addition, my anus is so tight that it can hardly admit my ring or index finger. My doctor called it ‘Anal Stricture’ and advised that I take plenty of fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately, the situation has only got worse. Is there any solution apart from surgery? If so, will the surgery allow me to do hard work as I want to join the Navy.

You will certainly need surgery to relieve the anal stricture. The procedure is harmless and effective when carried out by experts. In addition, the doctor will send a piece of the flesh near your anus to the Laboratory for proper analysis in order to know the underlying cause of the stricture. Kindly see a Surgeon at the nearest Specialist or Teaching Hospital to you.
