My administration will surpass Amosun’s achievements if elected ― Kashamu
THE governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Buruji Kashamu, has vowed that his administration would surpass all the achievements recorded by the Senator Ibikunle Amosun if elected as the next governor of the State.
He said this on Monday while addressing the Alake-In-Council during his visit to the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, at his palace, in Abeokuta.
Kashamu accompanied by his deputy governorship candidate, Dr Reuben Abati, the state chairman of the party, Chief Bayo Dayo and other leaders and chieftains, commended Senator Ibikunle Amosun for developing the state to the best of his ability.
He said his administration would be committed to the equitable distribution of infrastructural facilities in the state.
“I am not in the race to steal monies from the coffers of the state. If you give me the support to become the next governor of the state, I will do wonders. I will perform ten or twenty times better than Amosun and the people of the state will be happy for him,” he added.
The governorship candidate said allocation meant for the council areas would not be tampered with, assuring them of his readiness to write an undertaking to support his promise.
He decried the state of the third tier of the government saying that lack of funds had hindered development in the council areas.
Kashamu promised to promote “stomach infrastructure” for the people of the state in terms of financial empowerment.
Oba Gbadebo prayed for the success of Kashamu at the polls.
