ONE Salisu Isah was on Wednesday docked in a Kado Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja, over the alleged breach of trust, but was granted bail in the sum of N100,000.
Isah had pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of criminal breach of trust and cheating, levelled against.
The judge, Alhaji Ahmed Ado, granted the defendant N100,000 bail with one surety in like sum.
Ado said that the surety must reside within the court’s jurisdiction and adjourned the case until Sept. 19, for hearing.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Judith Obatomi, told the court that One Olusola Bukola, furniture maker at Jabi, reported the matter at the Utako Police Station, Abuja on Aug. 2.

Obatomi said the complainant reported that on July 5, he bought a generator from the defendant, with the agreement that if the capacity of his machine was higher than the generator, he would refund the money.
“Unfortunately the generator did not carry his machine and he requested for his money, “the prosecutor said.
She said that during the police investigation, they recovered N100,000 from the defendant remaining N200,000.
Obatomi said that the offences contravened Sections 312 and 322 of the Penal Code.
