NATIONAL Secretary of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Labaran Maku, has raised an alarm over alleged buying of Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC), in Nasarawa State.
Maku who was a former Minister of Information raised the alarm in an interview with Newsmen on Sunday in Lafia, said that report from so many communities across all the 13 Local Government Areas (LGAs), is that massive PVCs buying is currently going on.
He alleged that some influential persons in government in the State were collecting information from PVCs especially from women under the guise of financial assistance.
“They collect PVCs from these women and asked for their PVCs as collateral promising them a loan of N10, 000 only to copy information in it.

“Why will anyone only request for PVCs as collateral for a loan and no any other property,” he questioned.
He said that from available reports at his disposal, this information would be used by Information Communication Technology (ICT), experts to rigged 2019 election in the State.
He also urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to investigate the trend to forestall the planned election rigging.
He, therefore, urged religious and traditional leaders to ensure adequate voters education among their members.
Anything is possible in this present government of apc. only God can save us from the present situation. but just like you said earlier, let the village heads begin to educate their people on the importance of refusing their offer and make their pvcs their private property. may God help us.
