Let’s use Eid-el-Kabir to pray for our leaders, says Odidi Omo

The lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable Adedeji Stanley Olajide, has felicitated with Muslims across the country on the occasion of this year’s Eid el-Kabir celebration.

Speaking, Olajide, popularly known as Odidi Omo, urged Muslims to use the period to rededicate their lives to the service of God and humanity.

He challenged Nigerians to pray for their leaders so as to lead them aright over the challenges facing the country.

He said: “I want to charge Muslims to maintain the spirit of peace and unity among themselves, especially what we learnt and imbibed during the month of Ramadan.
“I’m also using this opportunity to encourage our people to pray for our country because this is a trying period and we hope to overcome the challenges very soon.”
