Lawmaker flags off road project in Osun Central senatorial district

In continuation of his contributions to the growth of the people of Osun Central senatorial district, Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi has flagged off the construction of a 20-kilometre road project at various locations in the constituency.

During the flag-off of the project, the senator said infrastructure development should be one of the crucial aspects of developmental  plans of any administration in the society, adding that infrastructure  also creates employment opportunities  to people and boosts the economic activities.

Nigerian Tribune learnt that the recent initiatives are part of N2 billion infrastructure intervention plans unveiled few weeks ago by Senator Fadeyi, located in some targeted areas of the constituency to uplift rural communities.

In a related development, the lawmaker has also set up a 2024 tertiary bursary award, aimed at giving financial support to indigent students of the constituency who are in higher institutions

Fadeyi said that all the ongoing road projects will be completed within the stipulated time for the benefit of his constituents.

In a release signed by his special adviser on liaison matters, Mr Lekan Olawoyin, Senator Fadeyi promised to keep on providing the constituency with good infrastructure and quality representation as long as his tenure lasted.
