The Lagos State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party has carpeted the All Progressive Congress on rolling out its achievements to the good people of the state.
While addressing journalists at the PDP Secretariat In Ikeja, Engr Adedeji Doherty said, the APC has ruled this state for over 20 years with little or nothing meaningful to show for it. Most of what we have seen has been cosmetic and not the real dividends of Democracy!
Nigerians and especially Lagosians know that Lagos State has had a steady generous pool of funds in its coffers since 1998 but the resultant infrastructural development is not commensurate! This is the main catastrophic situation we have today.

While Lagosians groan and moan in silence, and the state government continues to divert the Peoples’ money into ventures that only benefits its managers and the APC.
Doherty, said ‘My advice to APC is to get its house in order because the People of Lagos would ask for an Audited Account of their activities over the past 20 years very soon.
While addressing the journalists in Ikeja, Doherty said that the present Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is his younger brother and has, unfortunately, found himself in the middle of an unending ocean of unimaginable mammoth debt which is leaving him handicapped at this point and time.
He also warned Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on accumulating too many big unfinished projects, Doherty’s focus was on the Opening of the Biding process of the 4th mainland Bridge. We need to be careful!
Finally, Doherty advised the Governor to abide by the culture of transparency in governance which was one of the Campaign promises presented by the APC in 2015.
